It is important that you are able to provide feedback and make complaints about your experience throughout your NDIS journey.

Complaints about NDIA decisions

If you want to raise a concern or make a complaint about a decision that has been made by the NDIA you can discuss your options with your LAC.

If you decide you want formalise your complaint you need to do this with the NDIA directly. Visit the NDIS website for more information on how to complain to the NDIA.

If you are want to make a complaint about one of your service providers you are encouraged to raise your concern with them in the first instance.

If you are unable to resolve your concern or complaint, with your service provider, you can complain to the NDIS Commission; for more info follow the link below.

Feedback or complaint about your LAC

If you have feedback or a complaint about your LAC you can

What information we need from you

  • Details of your concerns including what happened, where it happened and who was involved 
  • Your name and contact details – if you provide anonymous feedback we won’t be able to respond to you personally

 What you can expect from Vinnies

  • Acknowledgement of the complaint – either by phone, in person or in writing
  • A timely, reasonable and sensitive response 
  • Appropriate action, including an investigation where required
  • Complaints and feedback, and their resolution, recorded in accordance with NDIA complaints and feedback policy
